“Geechi Gotti vs Rum Nitty full battle” is a battle event that takes place on June 30th, 2018. The event will be live streamed with the two battling it out in front of a live audience.
Drake and the Ultimate Rap League will take over Los Angeles on Saturday for the “Drake’s Til Death Do Us Part” rap battle event. The event is the most important in the history of rap battles.
In a clash of generational abilities, Geechi Gotti takes against Loaded Lux. Fans may watch the event live via the Caffeine TV live streaming site. On Saturday, October 30, 2021, Drake will organize a mega-event to commemorate his birthday and URL’s 12th anniversary.
This is a momentous occasion for Gotti for a multitude of reasons. He’s standing strong as the poster child of fight rap, in addition to being the local hero.
Geechi Gotti talked with The Source about prepping for the fight, Drake’s presence in the art form, and more as he stood across from Loaded Lux before one of the most anticipated confrontations of all time.
What does it mean for you to have your fight rap magnified by someone with Drake’s celebrity?
That’s a big deal, you know, a major deal. The immensity of where he is, the world’s greatest artists. So for him to come down and provide a hand in terms of getting more eyes on it and more people connected with it, that’s incredible. So I believe that all of the musicians participating in combat rap, in general, are ecstatic simply to have him around.
You bring up the fact that you have a lot of eyes on you. You are the man going into this event. No. 1: The brand’s public face. How does it make you feel?
It’s the fundamental reason we’re in this situation. To be the boss and to be at the top of the food chain. It means a lot to me at this point in my career to be on top and have Drake as a part of it. There aren’t any larger than that. So it’s time for me to go out this weekend and put on a fantastic performance for everyone who will be in attendance or watching from home.
You’re going up against Loaded Lux, which is a fantasy duel for many folks. What kind of preparation do you need to undertake?
I don’t make a lot of changes. If it ain’t broke, don’t repair it, as the saying goes. This is the type of thing we’ve been doing to get to this point. So, you know, I’d want to keep faithful to that. You know what I’m talking about? I had a struggle about a month ago. So, uh, but I’m accustomed to quick prep and back-to-back prep. So, in terms of preparation, the only change I’d say I made was zoning in a lot earlier than normal. Sometimes I’m like a procrastinator. As far as his pioneering status, he has taken his struggles very seriously for as long as he has been doing this. But, with me being the front man in the band and in battle rap in general, our fight was bound to happen.
On the internet, you have a Jordan versus. LeBron meme. When you compare yourself to LeBron, some people believe Bron has already surpassed Mike. I’m sure he’ll acknowledge it, and I’m sure you will as well.
It’s a battle rap battle. You need to be self-assured. This is essentially a verbal brawl. As a result, it’s similar to entering a boxing bout. You’ve got to knock it out, you’ve got to knock it out. We know we have three rounds, and I have to be the one they cheer for after the third. I’ve got to be the one who leaves this place going, “Whoa.” So you walk into the fight believing that what you put down is sufficient to win. I mean, no matter what your opponents say, I can’t stop him from doing what he’s doing. That’s the one sport in which I’m powerless to stop him. He’ll always have a chance, unless he simply gets up there and chooses not to say anything, which isn’t going to happen.
I’m delighted you brought up the subject of boxing. While Terrence Crawford chooses his battles in Texas, boxers in other countries will choose a home fight. You’ll be given the opportunity to play in your own arena. It’s natural to assume that you’ll have folks on your side at home. Does it answer your question? Or do you believe it may be your Achilles’ heel?
With it, there’s a double-edged sword. I’ve received a lot of love, and I’m not going to hide it because a lot of people in that building will be rooting for me. My progression from the start of my career to the present will be documented, and we don’t have these kinds of huge events on the West Coast.

Caffeine and Drake deserve credit for accentuating this. I’ve been on some billboards dealing with similar things before, guy, but he’s never been in my home state. I believe I was one in Atlanta and some in New York before, but the idea that I can drive and my family can see me is insane. I don’t want to waste that opportunity. Someone is going through downtown LA right now, looking like, “Man, you got it.”
What do you want new or current fans to take away from the event after it’s over?
Take away the fact that this sport needs a significant amount of time and preparation. It’s not an easy task. This is some of the most challenging work I’ve ever done, dude. These are some of the top MCs in the world when it comes to rapping. Take in this art form because it is incredible.
